Category Sponsorship - Category prize sponsors are not required to make a payment but will be required to donate a prize worth £150 - Contact us for more information via our contact form.

All contestants are required to find a sponsor. However, if you would like to approach a contestant to offer him/her sponsorship, please contact us. The sponsor will benefit from following features.

Apply To Compete

To enter Mr & Miss University Wales 2012 competition you must:
• Be a student in a Welsh University or
• Be a Welsh citizens studying in any University within the UK
• Be between 18-27 years old on 1st of June 2012
• Be free to take part in Mr & Miss University Wales final

Submit your application to take part in Mr & Miss University Wales.You will be expected to raise £75 sponsorship to secure your place in the final and you will be required to agree to the competition terms and conditions.

Venue

Mr & Miss University Wales will be held on the 17th May at the outstanding Grosvenor G Casino in Cardiff Bay. The event will be a sit down and stand up. It will be a fabulous night with loads of entertainment and a lot of fun with the after party at a prestigious Club in Cardiff Central.

Terms & Conditions

1. Mr & Miss University Wales contestants must be not less than 18 or over 27 on 1st February on the year of the competition.
2. Contestants must:
       ◦ Be a student in a Welsh university or
       ◦ Be between 18-27 years old on 1st of June 2012
       ◦ Be a Welsh citizens studying in any University within the UK
       ◦ Be free to take part in Mr & Miss University Wales final
3. All sponsorship fees paid to Mr & Miss University Wales by contestants are non refundable. Refunds will not be granted under any circumstances.
4. There must be nothing in the contestant's background that could bring into disrepute any aspect of the contest or its sponsors.
5. Entry forms must be completed with names as they are on passports, etc. and not assumed or professional names.
6. All contestnats must not have prior criminal convictions or pending convictions. 
7. Any contestant / family member / guest, judged to be displaying unsporting or unsuitable behaviour faces disqualification from the competition. No refund will be given under these circumstances.
8. Any contestant found publicly posting slanderous remarks on public forums will be immediately disqualified. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
9. Any photographs sent to us by either e-mail or mail will not be returned. Contestants agree that by entering an event their name and photographs may be used by Mr & Miss University Wales for advertising or promotion where the name Mr & Miss University Wales is included.
10. Prizes given by Mr & Miss University Wales sponsors to prize winners are not the responsibility of Mr & Miss University Wales and as such they shall not be held responsible for any sponsor failing to fulfil their obligations to prize winners.
11. Having signed the entry form and qualified for the final, contestants are reminded that they have signed a contract and that to break it is a serious matter.
12. Photographs will be taken by Mr & Miss University Wales "Official Photographer", our photographer is the only person authorised to take photographs at these events. 
13. No person or organisation may use the title "Mr & Miss University", "Mr & Miss University Wales", "Mr & Miss University England", "Mr & Miss University Scotland", "Mr & Miss University Ireland" without the express permission from Mr & Miss University Wales.
14. "Mr & Miss University", "Mr & Miss University Wales", "Mr & Miss University England", "Mr & Miss University Scotland", "Mr & Miss University Ireland" is copyright. No person, no organisation, may use the titles, without the permission of "Mr & Miss University Wales".
15. The contestant acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in any Mr & Miss University Wales competition belong to Mr & Miss University Wales and further understand that if selected a winner of the competition that for one year her professional affairs as said winner will be under the sole management of Mr & Miss University Wales and must not give any endorsements commercially without the express permission of Mr & Miss University Wales.
16. By entering the selection process and ultimately the contest, a contestant grants the organisers or the sponsors of the event, the free and unfettered right to use her name, photographs, voice, likeness, recommendations etc., relating to the contest, its title or any such connection between the contestant and the contest or title in any way it sees fit for advertising or sales promotions purposes, providing such use is not in a manner to cause harm to the contestant's reputation or name. Such agreement will continue in a similar manner for further material issued resulting in participation in the contest or during year of office if she wins the title. We cannot guarantee the return of any materials sent to us as part of an application.
17. Contestants agree that their name and photographs may be used by the organiser in any advertising or promotion feature where the names "Mr & Miss University", "Mr & Miss University Wales", "Mr & Miss University England", "Mr & Miss University Scotland", "Mr & Miss University Ireland" are included, providing such advertising or promotion shall not offend normal good taste.
18. IT IS EMPHASISED THAT THE ORGANISERS CANNOT IN ANY WAY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THE LOSS OF ANY CONTESTANT'S PERSONAL EFFECTS. LOOK AFTER YOUR OWN EFFECTS AT ALL TIMES. WHEN APPROPRIATE TAKE OUT INSURANCE AND DEPOSIT VALUABLES IN HOTEL SAFETY DEPOSITS.
19. In the event of any dispute over the rules of the contest the decision of Mr & Miss University Wales is final.
20. The judges decision is final and no correspondence can be entered in to. 
21. It is up to each participant to organise their accommodation, food and travel to the event.

23. Mr & Miss University Wales reserves the right to change these terms and conditions as necessary, should this happen any entrants will be notified of the changes.
